Team Orbit at NA and EU Call of Duty World League Qualifiers

Thu 3rd Dec 2015 - 4:28am General

Activision's Call of Duty World League is just around the corner. The first step is to decide what teams will be participating in the league, with North America, Europe, and Australia/New Zealand being supported. This weekend (December 4th-6th), qualifiers for the Pro Division of the Call of Duty World League will be held in each region.

Team Orbit will be sending a team to the North America qualifier in Los Angeles and to the Europe qualifier in Cologne, Germany. The teams must make top 2 in the 4 team group to qualify.

The North American team (Accuracy, Whea7s, Pacman, and Lawless) are placed into group A and will face Optic Gaming in their first match. This is a tough first opponent to start the season on Black Ops 3, but the team has been working hard to achieve their goals.

The European team (Shane, Vortex, Desire, SunnyB) has been placed into group B along with FAB Games, Millenium, and Splyce.

Team Orbit owner, Gordo, is excited about the events this weekend, saying, "It feels fantastic to have 2 teams with the chance to qualify for the Call of Duty World League. It's a big year for CoD and we are excited for 2016."

The events are set to be streamed on callofduty.com/esports
