Orbit At Crown Invitational

Fri 8th Apr 2016 - 4:29am General

This weekend, the very first Call of Duty World League Challenge Division event in Australia will be played. The Crown Invitational features 6 ANZ teams as well as 2 invited teams: Optic Gaming and Millenium. Both won their respective regions in Stage 1 of the Call of Duty World League and have a free pass to the semifinals of the event, per the format

Team Orbit qualified to play at the Crown Invitational and will be playing against Plantronics.Nv in their first matchup. If they win, they face the winner of Chiefs/Apotheon and qualify for day 2, where they will meet either Tainted Mind or Mindfreak, the top two teams from ANZ in Stage 1.

Orbit will be playing with two news faces since their Stage 1 playoff appearance:

Zeuss (formerly Team Immunity)

 Bacabec (formerly Team Immunity)

The two international teams are the favorites to win, but anything can happen. As Mindfreak owner NakeeeZe said to eSports Guru, "“I believe this event might just be the kick that exposes Australian Call of Duty locally, and to the world."
